An aneroid baromerer is a barometer in which no liquid used it confisls of a boxof thin carrugated metal from which most of air has been extracted when the air pressure increase the sides are presed closer together and where the pressure secreases the spring s forces the sides further apart by meand of a system of leveal shown in the figher these changes are made to move a pointe which moves over a dial the dial is calibrated by comparison with a merchcry
